Having staged some of the most prolific artists of recent decades, as well as an abundance of new and exciting music, Borderline delivers both excellence and innovation. Saturated in creativity, solid in substance, this iconic venue continues to attract the best of the best and HOT VOX never fails to bring this.
Headlining this carefully curated line-up are the sextet from Surrey, Bedroom / Boredom. Producing psychedelic vibes tied in with minimalism influences, Bedroom / Boredom move the feet whilst sedating the mind in a trance of a brisk riffs and soulful vocals. Making a name for themselves in the independent scene, Bedroom / Boredom look set to rub shoulders with the very best.
Main Support comes from Sunday Arches, whose deep rooted musical chemistry makes for a tight yet big sound. Using melody as the anchor, the self-exploratory lyrics run while the music meanders between snappy indie hooks and explosive hard rock. Sunday Arches offer a sonic spectrum while keeping one eye on the pop ideals.
Nestling in the middle of this line-up we have Far Suns Fall. Combining Blues, Rock, Alternative and Folk, Far Suns Fall pour heart felt, poignant lyrics, in to an emotional display of honest guitar music set to steal the show.
Next on the bill are Lucille. Formed in early 2017, Lucille are a Kent & London-based outfit that offers pop noir. Combining elements of rock and roll, pop and ’70s soul, Lucille strive to establish a narrative on 21st Century popular culture that is both critical of and complicit in its dark side.
Opening the night, we have RHYN. Haling from Buckinghamshire, RHYN completed their outfit in 2012 and haven’t looked back since. Playing at The Garage, Thousand Island, Camden Assembly and a whole host of other top venues, RHYN never fail to amaze in their capabilities both on and off stage.
This night is not to be missed with a stellar selection of HOT VOX artists taking to the stage at Borderline.
